Welcome!

On behalf of the EarlyNutrition Project and the Early Nutrition Academy (ENA), the Organizing Committee was delighted to welcome the participants to “The Power of Programming 2016 - Developmental Origins of Adiposity and Long-term Health” that took place October 13-15, 2016 in Munich, Germany.

International experts from clinical science, basic research and epidemiological studies were brought together with a joint focus on long term consequences of early nutrition and lifestyle factors on obesity and related disorders. Partners of the EU funded project EarlyNutrition were happy to share their research approaches and results with colleagues from all over the world. This conference built on our preceding and very successful international conferences in Munich in 2010 and 2014 where 500-600 participants joined for a comprehensive exchange of latest research findings. More information on the previous conferences is available here.

We would like to thank all 606 participants from 49 countries throughout the world for coming to Munich to take part in this conference! For videos of plenary sessions, please click here.

Pdf-files of many plenary session presentations are available here.
